We are the prime mover and the executary body charged with the role to ensure total adherence to the Universal Basic Education Commision's (UBEC) mission, vision and the set policies governing the Universal Basic Education (UBE) programme in the whole of Plateau state. The UBE Programme is a nine (9) year basic educational programme, which was launched and executed by the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since 1999 to eradicate illiteracy, ignorance and poverty as well as stimulate and accelerate national development, political consciousness and national integration

The Office of the Governor serves as a Regulatory and Control arm to PLSUBEB.
The Office of the Executive Chairman of PLSUBEB, coordinates all the affairs of PLSUBEB and the 17 LGEAs and also serves as a link to UBEC.

This portal features all the 17 Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs) and all the over 2,300 public primary schools cut across the 17 LGEAs plus a handful of impressive educational and e‐management web applications such as Education Management Information System (EMIS), Geographic Information System of Schools, ProjectWatch™ Monitoring & Evaluation tool for quality assurance, e‐library and e‐learning tool etc.
